Politicians in both California and Texas don’t seem to get along and spend way too much time criticizing the policies of each other’s states.

That doesn’t faze musicians Dave Alvin from California or Jimmie Dale Gilmore, a founding member of the great Texas trio The Flatlanders.

They first worked together touring in 2017 which was followed by the album
Downey to Lubbock. Now they will release TexiCali June 21, a brand new studio recording on YepRock Records.

TexiCali has eleven new songs; the first one released is “We’re Still Here.”
Alvin and Gilmore will be touring July and August from California to Philadelphia.
